What months are Butterfly Celebrations available?
We send our Butterfly Celebrations out from April – September, however, during extreme weather conditions there may be times we are not able to ship, luckily this is very rare.
What size and colour are the butterflies?
The Painted Lady butterfly has an average wingspan of 6.35 cm and is coloured with bright orange, black and white markings. We only raise one type - the Painted Lady butterfly, native to the UK and Europe.

How do I care for my Butterfly Celebration when it arrives?

When I release the butterflies from my Butterfly Celebration, what can I do to encourage them to stick around?
The butterflies will fly off towards a food source, so having an area with plenty of flowers around is great!Alternatively, pop out some cut up fruit nearby and this may encourage a few butterflies to land.
I live in the middle of a city, is that an issue for a Butterfly Celebration?
No, not a problem!The Painted Lady Butterflies are migratory species and can fly thousands of miles. Finding food and nettles to lay their eggs on is not a problem for them once released.
